Carole Ednie
Solo Baritone
I am 20 years old from Fife. I am currently studying for a BEd (Music) at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. I started playing the cornet with Buckhaven Brass Beginnings at the age of 5 and later moved onto the Baritone which I still play. I have previously played with Buckhaven and Methil Miners Band and bands within the Tullis Russell Organisation before joining the Co in August 2017. I am currently a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland and have sat solo baritone the past 2 years. I have also been fortunate enough to be part of the BBC Proms Youth Ensemble in 2018 where I played at the first night of the proms in the Royal Albert Hall. Following this, I also performed at the opening performance of the 2018 Edinburgh International Festival. My highlight in banding has to be winning the Scottish Championships in 2019.
